2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide core features: Health tracking, nutrition analysis, AI meal planning
- Generate AI recommendations: Personalized meal plans and health insights based on your profile, goals, and health data
- Sync health data: Between your device's health platform (Apple Health / Health Connect) and the App
- Improve the App: Analyze usage patterns, fix bugs, enhance features
- Send notifications: Health reminders and meal plan updates (with your permission)
We do NOT:
- Sell your personal data to third parties
- Use your health data for advertising
- Share individual health data with other users
- Store camera images on our servers (images are processed in real-time and discarded)
3. AI Processing
Our App uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude) to:
- Analyze food images for nutritional content
- Generate personalized 7-day meal plans
- Provide health insights and recommendations
Important: AI-generated content is not medical advice. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical decisions. Your health profile data is sent to AI providers (Anthropic) for processing. This data is not stored by AI providers beyond the processing session, per their data processing agreements.

6. Your Rights

- Opt out of analytics and notifications
How to Delete Your Account
- Open the App → Profile → Settings → Delete Account
- Or email privacy@healthmate.one with your request
- We will delete all your data within 30 days

8. Children's Privacy

9. International Users
Your data may be processed in servers located outside your country of residence. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your data to these locations. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data regardless of where it is processed.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
